FAQ

When will it ship?

We’re aiming to ship the Death Clock in early 2026. Keep an eye on your inbox for updates.

How does the Death Clock calculate “time left to live”?

When you first plug it in, you’ll answer a short survey. Our custom algorithm uses your responses to estimate the number of seconds you might have left.

Is the “time left to live” prediction accurate?

It’s just an estimate based on your survey answers. It’s meant to spark reflection, not serve as an exact prediction of your lifespan.

What are the dimensions of the Death Clock?

It’s compact enough to sit comfortably on a desk or bedside table. Final dimensions will be shared soon.

Can I reset the countdown after setup?

Yes, you can. Just reset the device, take the survey again, and it will start a new countdown.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. The Death Clock works entirely offline. You don’t need a connection during setup or daily use.

Can I use it as a regular clock?

Yes. You can switch between showing the current time and your countdown.

Is it AC or battery powered?

It’s powered by AC (mains), but it also includes a small internal battery to save your data in case of a power outage.

If I turn it off, will it lose my countdown?

No. It remembers everything. When you turn it back on, it picks up right where it would have been.

Are the images on the site final?

The overall design is final, though there may be slight differences between the images shown and the finished product.
