After nearly a decade of delivering the world’s best science toys and experiments, the team behind The Curiosity Box by Vsauce and MEL Science have combined forces to launch Inq Factory. Our goal is to take the genius of your favorite YouTubers off the screen and put them into your hands.

We were inspired by Steve Mould’s Assassin’s Teapot video (49m views) so we partnered him with Vsauce’s Michael Stevens to reimagine the concept as The Assassin’s Water Bottle — a dual-chambered bottle that cleverly holds two separate liquids and lets you pour one at a time.

We loved NileRed’s Belousov-Zhabotinsky reaction video (7.7m views) so much that we decided to make a kit so chemistry enthusiasts everywhere could safely recreate it at home.

And when our engineers envisioned the most beautiful way to see energy, we decided to invent the world’s first Lego-compatible solenoid engine.
